Eko Surf is a boutique Stand Up Paddle company that specializes in stable quality boards. Eko is family owned with a throwback to the surf shops of yesteryear. Owners David and Jessica come with Upstate New York beginnings; it is where as kids they developed a deep relationship with nature and being outdoors and living summers on the Great Adirondack Lakes.  After College they moved away to the city and were quickly caught up in the daily grind. Then 3 years ago D & J decided to move to Laguna Beach, California - a decision without knowing, that would change their lives forever.
 
D quickly fell in love with surfing and went literally EVERYDAY.   All the neighbors practiced their jokes on the East Coaster as he walked down to the beach - but no matter what - high tide or low tide, flat water or double overhead - D was out all year round, whatever it took - booties and all in the winter! He didn't care, he just wanted to be out there - the water, the experience, the whole thing! Until one too many flat mornings in a row did D & J decided to try Stand Up Paddling.  Down to the local surf shop they went and rented out a couple of boards... and on that maiden paddle they encountered numerous Dolphin's, Sea Lions, Sting Ray, and yes - a Gray Whale!  This was it, they were hooked.  After their paddle in, D & J went to purchase their very own boards, but they just couldn't believe the tags on those babies - and they weren't going to let them stop from paddling! It was from that moment on, and yes that very moment - where "EKO" sparked from their commitment not to just themselves but for the love of the sport and by doing so... by providing Stable, Quality boards at an FAIR price.
